We offer a 6 to 12 month graduate program for newly qualified registered nurses and midwives. The program helps you develop your nursing and midwifery skills in a supportive learning environment. It includes:
We have 2 intakes each year in January and July. If your application is successful you'll work a minimum of 40 hours a fortnight, but you can work up to 76 hours.
We have nursing placements at all our hospitals and health service facilities except for Mount Perry. We have midwifery childbirth placements at Bundaberg and Hervey Bay hospitals.

You can also use the program to meet some of the entry requirements for the Master of Clinical Nursing at Central Queensland University.
